The Who Announce 2019 North American Moving On! Tour, First Studio Album in 13 Years



The Who are headed back to North America. The iconic rockers will hit stages in the U.S. and Canada beginning on May 7 with a gig at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for a Live Nation-promoted tour that will be accompanied by the duo's first new album in 13 years. Singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend will be joined by guitarist/singer Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button and drummer Zak Starkey (son of the Beatles' Ringo Starr), on the Moving On! tour, which a statement released on Monday (Jan. 14) noted will also feature "symphonic accompaniment" on each stop.
